On telecommuting, working remotely, etc - I made a post last week looking for Flash, Flex, web programmers, etc.
Just to be clear - Pileated Pictures has been a successful "virtual" company now for over 7 years. We work with practically everyone remotely, and are a big proponent of the process. Any project that fails with a virtual studio, most likely would fail with the same team in one office - IMHO. Its all about the people involved, and how well they communicate. We have the track record to prove it and have many Fortune500 clients who can back that up. And we totally agree on simply finding bright people, if you can afford to train them that is. That's why we don't bother putting out elaborate job descriptions that make you feel inadequate or unqualified. If you think you got the stuff, give us a holler! If anyone is interested in freelance work on a regular basis, where you can work from wherever you want and essentially set your own hours, please drop us a line at "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" - we work on fun projects and you will get to work with veterans of LucasArts, ILM, Pixar, etc! Thanks!
