Hello, I'm a PHP/Perl developer who's not terribly familiar with Flash or Actionscript. A Flash developer friend of mine suggested I try asking a question here.
I find myself in a position where I need to call an Actionscript function from PHP. This PHP page is not viewed by the user, it's just called via AJAX from another page. The server is running FreeBSD with PHP 4. Is there any way to accomplish this? I would rather avoid having this function called on the client-side due to security concerns. If the above is impossible or financially prohibitive (via FMS), is there a good Actionscript to PHP converter anyone can recommend?
