In that case, Flash will treat them as a separate word. I'm not sure if there's a reasonable solution to this, other than putting in your line breaks manually. Unfortunately, Flash doesn't even have a mechanism for telling you on what line a character appears. What you can do, but it's messy, is to add the words one at a time and see at what time the line count increases, then if it's a 'punctuation word', move the previous word onto the next line by adding a line break to the text.
