Hi!

I got to create translator in Flash. Usually I work in Director, so am
not too sure if the following is possible. To localise an eLearning
application we send a rich text document into our global branches.
They replace the English text with their language (any language you
can think of, including dble byte and RTL) and send it back.
We then load that into our eLearning app which automatically displays
the new language. The various textfields are denoted in the text file
by a line :
'##~~Do not edit this line.1767~~##'

The tricky part is that we are worried people might upset the file by
tampering with this very line, which would make it unusable. So we are
looking for a way of only displaying the actual text field content and
make that available for translation.

In addition the rich text file also contains all the formatting of the
text as it appears in the eLearning app. We need to keep that in tact
(and the formatting differs from text field to text field).

I imagine an app that shows one text field at a time, which the user
can over type with their language version, then clicks a NEXT button,
etc until the end is reached. There should also be save button to
save the file periodically.

Can this be done in Flash (can't use Director as it is not unicode)

Thanks!
