Our games site has a problem - people pause a game and use the chat, which is a separate movie in an iframe servred from a separate domain. However, the game continues to get keyboard events. In fact, it even gets events from people typing in the address bar of the browser!
In some games this is a real problem, because the game unpauses when you hit the space bar or whatever. This happens in both Safari and Firefox on the Mac. Doesn't happen on Windows. A friend suggested trapping the keyboard events using Javascript, to keep them from getting to the games... has anyone else dealt with this problem?
