So you're drawing lines from one point to another. So what you need is a system for selecting an area of the graph, converting it to a region of x-values, recalculating the corresponding y-values and putting them into the array. Then you'll redraw your graph to give the final result, yes? So: selection: on mouseDown, store the x-position. On enterFrame, look for the current x-position and draw a nice semi-transparent rectangle over your graph in the appropriate position. On mouseUp, find the leftmost x-position and convert to an x-value in your array, and the same for the rightmost x-value. This gives you a start and finish point for your recalculation. Calculate your values, redraw the graph and you're done. Any help?
