Hi Scott

My model creates separate events for all properties.
To avoid errors I declared all event names as static variables in the
model.

So a view would subscribe to an event like this:

Model.getInstance().addEventListener(Model.SET_APPLICATION_STATE, this)

My views access the properties of the model directly and not trough the
event that is broadcasted. That saves a bit of code.

e.g.

var myItem:ItemVO = Model.getInstance().selectedItem;

Robin

I've been playing with similar ideas and I'm wondering if your model
just
dispatches an 'onUpdate' event, that prompts views to get the values
they're
interested in, or do you create seperate events for individual
properties on
the model?
