Wendy, Not from within Flash, which is really annoying (and quite puzzling - I've no idea why they didn't expose that as a property somewhere, along with the canvas size).

I am loading some swfs into swfs and would like to size them appropriately and make the background of the panel I am loading into match the background color of the swf being loaded.
