Hi all, I have a Movieclip that i attach to the stage at runtime. i then load a jpg into that movieclip and on the press of a button remove all clips on stage and create an entire new screen (screen being new ui elements). before i remove the clips i copy the movieclip with the jpg in it, but it seems when i remove all the clips the bitmapdata goes with it...even though i saved it as a member of my class...can someone confirm this, and if so is there a better way to store and copy the data as needed?
