Very much agreed. We've reached the situation where we tried every single variation on the shared font, and none of them did what we needed, so we've had to embed the font information in every one of our movies. The key feature that we lacked was the ability to create a new textfield using the shared font in a clean and easy way. (The closest we got to it was to embed a shared movieclip that included a textfield with the font embedded; unfortunately even this didn't work because of the lag in loading these movies). Also, the ability to use a font from a movie loaded with attachMovie in the parent movie.
