Preliminary results seem to suggest that the problem only occurs when compiling with the Flash 9 public alpha rather than Flash 8. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had problems with MovieClipLoader:onLoadInit not firing in SWFs published with the Flash 9 public alpha. -- T.
