Right - 

myArray["hello"] = "hi"

is the same as:

myArray.hello = "hi"

Depends on your coding preferences.  Personally, I prefer Alain's
suggestion of object dot-notation syntax:

myArray.hello

if the array's name is variable, then:

this[myArray].hello
