I professor who I work with is looking for a Flash or Java programmer. I
think ideally they would know some of both but they can probably go with
either technology.

Responsible for developing, modifying, testing, and maintaining
interactive software (in Java and/or Flash) for use in two research
projects on science and argument instruction; carry out usability
analyses and (re-)design software accordingly; be responsible for
software installation and other aspects of software availability and
functioning when experiments are run; test new software versions in
collaboration with other members of the research and development teams;
generally, practice good software engineering methodology.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information systems or computer science or
equivalent combination of training and experience; Two or more years
experience with programming and software development; Very solid skill
in software engineering using Java and/or Flash. Ability to create
highly modular, easily maintainable code. Excellent ability to test code
thoroughly. Ability and willingness to create student-friendly
interfaces. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational
skills. Ability to design, create, and maintain software applications;
communicate with system users and group members. Ability to work
independently within larger groups; Sedentary; Close contact with
computer for prolonged periods; Ability to work under pressure; pay
attention to detail; meet inflexible deadlines; allocate time
appropriately between distinct projects, maintain composure and
successfully communicate with people with varying backgrounds and
responsibilities; In order to meet deadlines, some evening and weekend
hours may be required;
