Hi Steven - I'm using a vector - a simple rectangle.

Paul - thanks for the insight. I've tried a few things now and nothing I do gets the clip to be at the proper size. I'm giving up on it and may use Patrick's suggestion of the Bevel filter.

Patrick - I did originally try using bevel, but it never gives me a really clean line even with Blur at 0 and quality at High. But, I think it may be good enough.

FWIW - I also had a embosser class I wrote, to extend MC. But then I had issues with my drawn lines appearing over things since I couldn't draw into the clip itself - as it was scaled. I think Bevel is going to be the least hassle, even though it's not exactly what I wanted.
