Try using a listener to listen to "change" of the list so when the list changes it gets updated. <code> var listenerObject:Object = new Object(); listenerObject.change = function(eventObject:Object) { // Your code here. }; listInstance.addEventListener("change", listenerObject); </code> That's taken from the Help files.
