Hi, I've no experience with flex2, but Muzak can i conclude from your remark the classes are available under flex2 ? If so, can't they be compiled to an swf, used to generate intrinsics from and use them in flash 9 anyway?

Those are AS2, not AS3. There are currently no AS3 classes/components for webservices or remoting in FCS3.
