Thanks, that is what I thought!

I think that I really don't like Acrobat from a developers point of
view - there is no other software I know that can chop and change the
way its operating (what it installs where and writes into the
registry) so many times and with every version and deviation of its
Acrobat software. If I wanted to test for this all, most of my lines
of code would be devoted to it ;) (well, maybe not all, but ....)

In the end I simply didn't bother (mainly because the client said it
wasn't necessary as they were supplying the computers on which the app
was going to run anyway ....
