The innovation group at MyStrands, a well funded and fast growing
player in mobile and internet personalization, is looking for a senior
engineer to help prototype and develop a very interesting web
application. We are looking for people who have passion for
development and are creative, both visually and technically. Strength
in computer science, application development and UI will be required.
The development work will be demanding, requiring skills along most of
the end-to-end code, with particular emphasis on the front end during
the early prototyping phase. The ideal candidate would have Flash and
Flex experience.
You will be part of a game changing team headed by a MIT computer
science research scientist, another senior computer scientists and
three mobile and web engineers. In return you will have the
opportunity to define critical architectural choices and be part of a
game changing team.
Responsibilities:
* Proven expertise of End-to-End prototyping and production level code
from scratch (please be prepared to demo your work)
* Strong OOP (Java, C++, C#) and component development skills
* Strong Flash and Flex skills (with knowledge of BlazeDS)
* Expert level knowledge in Web User Interface design & development.
Requirements:
* BS in Computer Science
* Previous startup experience as Dev Lead, Sr. Developer, or comparable.
* 5+ years experience in launching successful interactive web sites/
applications, ideally in consumer space.
* 5+ years relevant web programming experience.
* Strong technical interest in latest Web 2.0 innovations
* Experience with rapid development and project management methods
* US Citizenship or permanent resident
