Greetings,
We're looking for someone adept at Flash and ActionScript to modify
an existing Flash 8 application.
We'll need a cost estimate and then the work completed right away (of
course). The work we need right away won't be huge (the original
developer, who's committed to other projects right now, thought it
might take him only a couple of hours) but you'll need to dig into
someone else's code. The original developer might be available to
consult by phone to speed the learning curve.
We're not looking for a graphic designer; the design of this project
is already complete.
Required are the ability to work in Flash version 8, comfort with
real-time interactive user interfaces, and fluency in ActionScript
including object classes. Desireable but not required collateral
skills include familiarity with AFMPHP for interaction with our PHP
code and comfort with simple trigonometry or other methodologies for
arranging text character FLAs on curves.
When you write for more details, please let us know where you're
located geographically, what your hourly rate is in US dollars, and
what your availability is on the calendar beginning now and also
throughout the year should this job turn into a longer-term collaboration.
