Zeh explained it really good already.  If you missed it, he said,
".enabled on AS3 isn't the same as .enabled it was on AS2 (.mouseEnabled
is). Basically, .enabled turns on or off the state animation change, and
tab ordering."  

Whereas mouseEnabled turns the mouse click event detection on and off
(like button.enabled did in AS2).
