Hi all,
Wondering if anyone has encountered this problem and could shed some light
on it.

I'm using the FLVPlayback to stream a selection of videos (from Flash Media
Server). I want to implement a countdown when the video is buffering. To do
so, I've registered listeners for the 'bufferingStateEntered' event and
'bufferingStateEntered' events to show and hide the countdown respectively.

The 'bufferingStateEntered' event fires as expected but I never see the
'bufferingStateEntered' event. Never! It's definitely buffering as I have
set a buffer time of 6 seconds and this is reflected when a new video is
loaded. The event just isn't dispatched.

As additional background in case it has an effect: when I load a new video,
I do so simply by setting the 'source' property of the FLVPlayback instance
to the URL of the new video.

I've tried a number of different things to no avail and Googling seems to
turn up little info which tells me it isn't a common problem (unless I'm
just using the wrong terms).

Any help much appreciated. Otherwise, good weekends all!

Adrian Park
