Hmm... pretty strange. I did see one post about someone having Flash installed somewhere other than C: or something... can you try adding the location of the air classes to your document classpath and see if they still come up as unfound. It's possible that the "Publish Settings" template for AIR makes certain assumptions about the location of those classes....
