I've used FontExpert in the past.
Great tool for managing installed and non-installed fonts.
Also allows you to temporarily deactivate installed fonts and alot more..

Hi,

Is there any way of "testing" the validity of fonts on PC's?

I ask as we have a similar problem with Adobe Premiere Pro 2 where fonts are causing the program to crash... Not sure how you "validate" on a Mac, but if there is some kind of tool to do this...

Googling shows what looks like a lot of complaints about Adobe stuff suffering from "dodgy font" crashes - it seems ironic that a company dealing mainly in graphics software can't seem to write a program that fails gracefully when something graphical goes wrong ;|

Any tips on fonts are most appreciated as we have about 700 or more installed (and never used...)

   Glen
