Hi,
I think there is an AS3 SMTP library for sending emails, but you
will need to have access to an SMTP relay and probably set up the Socket
Policy server on the same host because of restrictions (unless you are
using AIR maybe).

Possibly better off posting to a server side script that will just
use the standard mailing libs and work out how to do the attachment
there. I am guessing you would still be able to POST the attachment
data in a fairly raw format and then splurge it out into your mailing
libs "attach()" function or similar...
