Hmm. I don't know what you guys are talking about. I am also using a 2.2 ghz duo core laptop, and it's been plenty fast for me. Perhaps it helps that I have 4 GB of ram? Not sure. But I really enjoy the upgrade--things feel a lot more efficient and consistent.
