So, I'm creating an e-Library that consents users to read text from a pdf source and display it into a dynamic Text Field in Flash. But I am experiencing a problem which is that RTL languages (in my case it is ARABIC) are not displayed correctly. This is the famous Flash Problem since years I know, but today I felt frustrated when I uploaded an Arabic written document to scribd.com. iPaper just popped out and showed me the text wrapped and correctly formatted. I thought that is an image of the page but the text is perfectly selectable.
I've tried the Text Layout Framework for FP 10 but it seems to be unsupported yet as in I can't find any documentation online. I'm wondering if there is something that would permit me to show pdf files directly in the Flash Player, instead of tying to fetch the text within it. Please help, I'm frustrated. -- Omar M.
