I am monitoring onXMPData as well but that does not get called either. I am using FLV.
All I wanted from the meta data was the duration of the stream. I can get that info by calling NetConnection getStreamLength, so that part is now sorted without receiving the meta data. However there are numerous other issues with Red5. resume() does not work after pause(). seek() does not work. I have been spending hours coming up with "workarounds"... There are posts about these issues on the net and Red5 tickets have been raised for few months too.
