I'm not sure if this is typical, but the ActionScript editor and also the debugger in Flash CS4 Professional, on my machine, are almost unusably slow. Do other people find this to be the case? On my machine, it might take ten seconds to step from one line to the next, even when there isn't much going on in the program, and editing the code takes five seconds for the cursor to appear in the code, and waiting to backspace takes several seconds, and the menus are very slow, and so on. So I would actually like to code and debug in some other environment than Flash CS4 Professional. What are my options? What editors and debuggers do you use? I'm using FlashDevelop for coding, and that seems good. Much much faster. But it's not integrated with a compiler/debugger. I see there is an Alpha version of flexdbg, which purports to be a debugger for FlashDevelop. Alpha?? How come all these Flash dev tools are all in Alpha?? ja? http://vispo.com _______________________________________________ Flashcoders mailing list [email protected] http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders Geen virus gevonden in het binnenkomende-bericht.
