Aside from wiseacre comments from the likes of Jason and me, there's an option you may not know about. Click on <http://chattyfig.figleaf.com/mailman/listinfo/flashcoders>. Towards the bottom of the page, you will see a button labeled "Unsubscribe or edit options". Enter your email address and click on that. On the next page, enter your password. That will take you to a screen where you can edit your settings. Scroll down and you'll see the option "Receive your own posts to the list?". If "No" is selected, you won't get copies of your own posts. If you want copies, change it to "Yes".
