Hello All: I am new to the list.
I am looking for a simple example of [or if it is even possible to] having text over an animation in Flash -- showing the animation Only through the text characters themselves? Something very similar to this Photoshop technique: http://www.clippingimages.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/Final-11.jpg except with an animation in the background instead of [a much more easily maskable] image: I can play with alpha and glass techniques to show the animation through the text easily enough -- but can't find how to mask the non-text portion out.
