Think I have been looking at the old AS3 reference - it is clear in the docs for CS5, but Flash 9.0 ref is less verbose. Sorry, I understand the broadcast thing fully now :-!It is a special event. It is one of the few broadcast events. The manual is quite clear on this. It is not dispatched for focus issues.
