Hello Zach, please apply this patch additionally to the earlier patch I sent you. The board should get recognized then (You will see a line "Disabling write protection for Intel SE440BX-2" in the flashrom -V log), and please send again a flashrom -V output, so I can see whether identifying the chip is now possible.
This is needed for the Intel SE440BX-2 as well as the Asus P5A.
