since the intel chipsets are so special we handle them a bit differently
than normal. flashrom will detect a special virtual 8MB flash chip
instead of the two separate 4MB devices. btw i want to stress again
that this will only work if the flash descriptor is set up correctly.
this is a hardware limitation.
