Hello Alex and thanks for your report!

The quote above is from your write log. The :S at the end of the
address range means that flashrom detected that the contents of the
chip is already equal to the test.rom image you supplied and did *S*kip
writing it. Can you confirm that you really have changed the flash
contents previously?
