I just would like to report a successful bios update with flashrom on my
Asrock 960GM-GS3 FX moteherboard.
Everything worked perfect using
flashrom -w ./960GMGF1.40 -V -p internal
server:/home/ifuley # flashrom -p internal
flashrom v0.9.6.1-r1564 on Linux 3.7.10-1.1-desktop (x86_64)
flashrom is free software, get the source code at http://www.flashrom.org
Calibrating delay loop... OK.
Found chipset "AMD SB7x0/SB8x0/SB9x0". Enabling flash write... OK.
Found Winbond flash chip "W25Q80" (1024 kB, SPI) at physical address
0xfff00000.
No operations were specified.
