Hello Israa, Thank you for contacting us! Unfortunately, "Modernize the flashrom website" project is not available for GSoC 2022 anymore. I really apologize for the inconvenience, and confusion.
The reason is, we had some discussion recently about the project and realised that the project is not well-defined, not ready for this year's GSoC. There is a lot of research-style work that needs to be done to define the task, and research-style work is not a good fit for GSoC. It is all good in your email, and all your questions make sense. Sorry to disappoint you that the project is not available. Good luck if you try applying to another organisation!
