Hello Dominik, Sorry for the late reply. We had a similar problem[1] with linux_mtd. It's fixed, but the last release was a long time ago. Maybe, linux_spi has the same problem. It seems like OS reads ahead and returns cached data instead of actual data.
Have you checked if anything has changed? You can do it using the following commands: ``` flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=2000 -r old.bin flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=2000 -E -n flashrom -p linux_spi:dev=/dev/spidev0.0,spispeed=2000 -r erased.bin ``` Did any of these commands fail?
