Thanks for the message. I'm definitely looking to contribute longer as my
hobby. I even raised my first code review even though it's a minor fix for
scan build issues.
Also the idea about bash auto completion sounds interesting to me and I
would like to work on it.

Do you recommend to first play more with flashrom and then work on this
feature? or should I get hands on directly and take my own time to figure
it out?
