Good day everyone, We are planning to release v1.7.0 by the beginning of March.
The dates are planned as follows: 2nd February tag v1.7.0-rc1 and start testing and bugfixing, 2nd March tag v1.7.0 and release. In between 2nd Feb and 2nd Mar priority goes to testing and bugfixing. New features need to either get merged before 2nd Feb, or wait until after the v1.7.0 tag (2nd Mar). If you are in doubt whether your patch is a bugfix or a new feature, send a patch and we'll see. It is always fine to send a patch.
