I understand your point Leigh.  I do think though that using the Enter key 
would be easier to teach to the non digital ham.  To make turning the mode 
on and off would probably require a button on the top line like the RSID and 
Tune buttons that something like "Auto TX" with its own green light.  I do 
appreciate, though, that this would not be a trivial coding change so am 
really floating the idea for future consideration.
