I have had the same or a similar problem going back many versions, both downloaded as binaries and when I've compiled it myself. The first time after starting fldigi, when I right click on a call in the Rx pane and click "Look up call", the notes window shows "Request sent to QRZ.com..." but nothing actually happens, it just stays like that although everything else continues to work fine. I have verified with Wireshark that there is nothing being sent to qrz.com. When I repeat the procedure, it will work fine. I am a subscriber to qrz.com, fwiw. Bob, W6CP
