Hi all, to Ed I beg to disagree with regards to RSID. Possibly you look at this facility from the stateside point of view. Here in Europe the situation differs insofar as - you hear RSID daily on 20m and 30m - there are used those fuzzy modes where this facility is very useful (rttym, contestia, domino etc.) - not everybody is using the pskbrowser (me included) - compared to the RSID provided in fldigi prior to 3.13.AD the present incorporation is a huge step forward and I fully support the popup method as it allows you to decide whether you want to go there or not.
The GUI maintains the simplicity which attracted me to fldigi since the beginning. Putting it on the level of Multipsk is not justified. The latter is a different kettle of fish; it has got pros and cons which do not belong into this consideration. One or two buttons more or less make no difference to me. To Bob why don't you call CQ in QPSK with the RSID switched on? I get it daily on my screen. To Dave Thanks for this version. I notice that if I am prompted "save logbook", it saves an empty log entry when there is no callsign in the resp. box; I have to manually delete it later.
