Please define "best". I used fldigi on Windows XP with PowerSDR and my Flex 5000. I also use it on MacOS with a K2. I cannot test the latter as you don't make new versions of the MacOS build available. (I have had so much trouble successfully building fldigi under MacOS that I quit trying.) I make a point to test using both hamlib and RigCAT as I have suitable definitions for both but my testing is cursory, i.e. does it work or doesn't it. I don't try to quantify it beyond that. Are you interested in update-rate/latency or error rate? I suppose we could have periodic errors that masquerade as reduced response time. -- 73 de Brian, WB6RQN/J79BPL
