I like the feature under file, where you can load different macro files. I wonder if the same could be done with the fldigi_def file. Here's the reason why I ask. On our demo's, I use an ACER Netbook and sometimes have it hooked up with my Signalink USB but usually have it set up to use without an interface.
It's not much of an inconvenience to go into the sound card setting to make the change because the calibration figures are about the same between my internal sound card and the USB signalink. But this is not the case with w3yj's computer. To switch between a USB sound card device and his internal sound card, he has to make the sound card setting change as well as changing the calibration figures. It would be cool to have a few different fldigi_def files to choose from in this instance, especially for operators who may disconnect their laptop from the home station and their USB Signalink in order to go mobile and use the internal sound card. Just a thought.
