I wrote the Hell-80 patch for GMFSK and Fldigi way back in the dark ages, based on specs I found on, if I recall correctly, Murray ZL1BPU's website. The initial testing was done against MultiPSK, the only other implementation I could find at the time, and worked fine. The code for one or the other has probably changed since then.
