I noted the following Dick, I usually find that the 2 controls for signal processing need to be adjusted. These are the 2 controls on the bottom left of the gui. Nine times out of 10 this is the problem. I would have him set whatever OS-X uses for audio control to max and make sure nothing is muted. Also slide the balance controls to the left or right to see if that has any effect. Ed W3NR
