AFAIK, unless you install the new version, Fldigi will use what you have installed. At some point the distributions will pick up the latest versions of each and probably have Hamlib as a dependency of Flidigi. It would be most welcome if the members of this list using Hamlib could test the daily SVN snapshots from http://n0nb.users.sourceforge.net every so often.
