Brian,

Having this RSID flexibility will be a plus for everyone whether their
in this for emcomm, contesting or ragchew.

I leave my rig on just about 24/7 and parked on 3.5835 USB. I'm looking
forward to setting it up with RSID to only Olivia 8/500 and MT63 1k long
in the passband. Our team will be able to put out short messages on
8/500 Olivia and detailed messages on MT63 1k long and any station
monitoring won't miss a beat.

Many of our County EOC's have amateur stations that go unused and are
unmanned 99% of the time. We'd like to encourage the EOC personnel to
monitor our wpaNBEMS call frequencies, especially during emergencies.

The selectable RSID feature combined with WRAP will REALLY work well for
the unmanned EOC application. All the EOC personnel will need to be
trained on is how to turn on the rig and computer and how to drag and
drop a WRAP file to open and confirm our formal, priority and emergency
traffic (which would all be in WRAP format).
