I was having repetitive fldigi-3.13BW kernal crashes this morning. It would live for a few minutes then crash

I had a DSL connectivity issue and AT&T had the phone lines down for a few hours for DSL repairs. Once AT&T stopped messing around with the DSL, fldigi started working normal with no crashes. I was not aware that fldigi required an internet connection to stay alive but that must have been the problem creating the repetitive crashes earlier this AM. What functions within fldigi requires internet connectivity? Dick AA5VU
