I monitor RTTY a lot, and I really appreciate the "brown rtty paper." Very much reminds me of a real tty.
It would be outstanding, amusing, and, I think, entertaining if the "paper" rolled by with slightly darker brown "spots", fold lines, and the occasional "coffee ring." You might even have a directory where random images (PNG, since they have transparency) could be found, so the program could have customized grunge. All you'd need for the UI would be yes or no, and a transparency setting. Or just jpegs, where white or black is "nothing" and the "stain" is darker grey shades, or even color (lipstick kisses, anyone?) I know it's silly on the one hand, but on the other... I just think it'd be cool. :) Ok, I'll go back into the woodwork now. :) --Ben AA7AS
